Position Overview:
TAL Academy is seeking a knowledgeable and collaborative Curriculum Coordinator to support the development and implementation of the General Studies program.The Curriculum Coordinator will work closely with the Assistant Principal and partner with teachers to strengthen curriculum, support instruction, and ensure consistency across classrooms.

Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field (required)Several years of teaching experience, preferably coupled with administrative rolesStrong understanding of ELA, Writing, Social Studies, and Science instruction and standardsExperience with curriculum development or instructional supportStrong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Support:
Assist in the development and refinement of curriculum for ELA, Social Studies, and ScienceHelp maintain and organize scope and sequence documents, pacing guides, and instructional materialsSupport alignment across grade levels to ensure consistency and continuity
Teacher Support:
Work directly with teachers to support lesson planning and implementation of curriculumProvide guidance, resources, and ideas to strengthen instructionCollaborate with teachers to problem-solve and address instructional challengesModel lessons or strategies when appropriate
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Assistant Principal to support curricular goals and school initiativesParticipate in planning meetings and curriculum discussionsServe as a resource for teachers with curriculum-related questions
